Privacy Policy
Qwery ("the app," "we," "us") is a daily riddle game published by Jayma Labs. This page explains what information the app collects, who it's shared with, and how you can control or delete it.
What We Collect

We never see your payment details. Apple and Google handle all payments. We don't collect precise location, contacts, or photos, and we don't sell your personal information.
Who We Share It With
We use a small number of service providers to run Qwery. Each one receives only what it needs:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring) stores your account and gameplay data and receives usage, crash, and app performance data.
- Google AdMob shows ads in the free version and receives your advertising ID (if you allow it), IP address, device information, and ad interactions. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- RevenueCat manages Qwery Pro subscriptions and receives your account ID and your purchase records from the App Store or Google Play. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Apple and Google process payments and, if you choose them, sign-in.
Ads & Tracking
The free version of Qwery shows ads from Google AdMob. Qwery Pro subscribers don't see ads.
- On iPhone and iPad, Qwery asks for permission to track you across apps. If you decline, your device's advertising identifier isn't shared, and you can keep playing either way. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Qwery asks for your consent through Google's consent form before showing personalized ads.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings, under Google → Ads or Privacy → Ads, depending on your device.
What Other Players Can See
If you create an account, other Qwery users can see your username, your gameplay stats, your leaderboard results, and who you follow and who follows you. This is by design, so pick a username you're comfortable with others seeing. Guest players without an account don't appear on the leaderboard or in friends lists.
How It's Stored
Account and gameplay data live in Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, both operated by Google. A local copy of your riddle history and stats is also kept on your device so the app works offline.
Your Choices & Deletion
Delete your account and everything tied to it at any time, in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, username, gameplay stats, solve history, and friends connections from our servers and from your device.
- Results you've already posted to past daily and weekly leaderboards aren't removed automatically. Email us and we'll delete them.
- Usage and crash data is deleted automatically by Firebase after a limited retention period.
- Apple, Google, and RevenueCat keep purchase records as required for billing and tax purposes. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Qwery Pro subscription. See our Terms of Use for how to cancel.

Children's Privacy
Qwery isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the revised version at this same address.
